Within the past 7-8 years, both Galaxy and Texas Ranger have released CB Base Stations on the market.
The DX-2547 and TR-696F are both nice additions to the base station market and look
excellent in the shack.

With the decline of the CB Base station in the early 1990's,
it was refreshing to see both Galaxy and Ranger venture into the Citizens Band Base Station market. Both radio's offer
AM/SSB, frequency counter and a boat-load of options. The
Galaxy DX2547 Deluxe 40 Channel CB Base Radio is still sold new and even though Ranger has discontinued the TR-969F, it can still be found new or reconditioned on
many online CB Radio stores.
